A great AI journalism article.

And I see it is deeply appreciated by many on the Fedi.
Han Lee is doing good AI journalism and I'm sure we'd welcome him and engage with his AI journalism posts fulsomely.

Sadly there are some AI journalists who feel unwanted, "chased off" even, on the Fedi.
Might that be because what they call AI Journalism is too often indistinguishable from the boosting of gen AI slop?

The non-specificity of the term AI / Artificial Intelligence is facilitating troubles.

The excretement of genAI machines is being blended in with the statistical analysis of biochemical data.

I've got time for the latter. But its presentation is swamped by the former.

And boosters of Muskian CSAM-creation methods are benefitting from the confusion.

Is there available easy language that separates off the respectable stuff and leaves the rest to be composted?

Loving all these flowers popping up after the spreading of manure and rain.

Seems to me the AI booster journalists are the ones wanting a monoculture echo chamber.

And that's possible for them on the Fedi now by Blocking & Muting non-cultists.

But they think they've got the AI-gospel and we should be their eager-listening, receptive and grateful disciples.

They need an instance of their own, with swarms of rapt disciple-bots begging for their AI golden showers.
