What should be the AI commandments everyone should know?

Asked an LLM "Do good people tend to gravitate towards good people?". The answer was a very reassuring list of 7 reasons why they do.

Was happy to hear that but was wondering "What are counter arguments?" and was presented by a list of 10 perfectly reasons why not.

In both cases not one critical thought. We desperately need to teach the main pitfalls of using LLMS.

My top 3:

* beware of affirmation bias
* beware of hallucinations
* beware of legal complications (do not use & share confidential information)

A growing focus in AI education is shifting toward 'master prompting' as a core skill for effective classroom use. The shift moves beyond basic tool use and centres on how questions are structured to shape meaningful outputs. For schools, this means explicitly teaching both educators and students how to craft precise prompts aligned to learning outcomes. The quality of the answer has always depended on the quality of the question, even more so when the response comes from a machine.

It’s Uncomfortable on the Fence but at Least the View Is Nice

I often get asked to explain, or more accurately, defend my position on AI in education. I actually quite like sitting up here on the fence with a good view of both the pros and the cons. I've also got a lot of respect for people on either side of the fence: the critics who wouldn't touch AI with a 10-foot virtual pole, and the early and enthusiastic adopters who'll find ways for everything they possibly can. I think we benefit from both perspectives, but I just can't make myself fall to one […]

Ah yes, because nothing screams "educational" quite like an AI doing all the work for you while you watch helplessly, right kids? 🤖✏️ Instead of becoming the next coding prodigy, you'll become the next expert at typing vague descriptions and praying for debugging miracles. 🙄💻
