I now identify as a transmasc agender pansexual being using he/they pronouns!! I remember when I came out as trans around 11 years ago, I first questioned being agender. But, after a long time of identifying as a man, I can safely say that I don't identify with that either. I am still okay with being referred to as "dude" and "bro"!! I see them as gender neutral terms. But, I don't conform to either gender. I've always felt odd being in groups full of just women or just men. I have lived both experiences, but I just don't identify with either!! Thanks for hearing me!!🤍

I did another step towards greater self delight on my agender journey.

I can't afford electrolysis or laser hair treatment, so I did the next best thing; full body shaving. Got rid of that typical identifier of my sex assigned at birth.

(And wow, my skin actually feels softer! I thought that was only achieved with HRT.)

I may actually wear shorts one day without being self-conscious and being read as a "guy".

Was able to file my legal name change documents with the court clerk this morning. My county indeed doesn’t require a hearing for this. And since it’s for gender identity reasons, I shouldn’t have to publish it in the newspaper prior to approval.

The only bummer was that it’ll take 2-3 weeks to process. I had hoped it was more in terms of days. But at least I’m in the pipeline!

My mind works better on estrogen, my body works better on testosterone, and if I take them both at the same time, it makes me physically ill. Not sure where that leaves me. Seems like there's no winning on HRT right now.

I'm extremely excited about this Friday. For my legal name change process to gender-neutral it, I got the background checks back clean a week ago, and have just been waiting for payday to file the motion with the court.

And Colorado is one of the few states that do not require the publication in a newspaper if you are changing names because of gender identity (abuse is the other reason).

Fingers crossed I get approved soon thereafter so I can keep this exciting train moving forward! It'll be nice to have my old name in the rearview mirror soon.

Meanwhile I've been using my new name everywhere (Hi this is Alex Blah legally Bleh for a while longer). I'm excited, can't ya tell? 😀
