Milano, 22 mag. (Adnkronos) - “Qualità e sicurezza creano un valore nell'opera se vengono interiorizzate immediatamente, perché questo ha un impatto sui costi, sul project schedule, sull'assenza di varianti, interferenze e problemi realizzativi. Quindi si deve pianificare dall'inizio per non dover poi fronteggiare problemi alla fine”. Ad affermarlo Alessia Formato, Director of Operation e Project Director di Aecom, in occasione della XII edizione della Seismic Academy promossa da Hilti.
Tenutosi a Milano presso la Camera di Commercio Svizzera, l'incontro rappresenta l'evento di riferimento nel panorama italiano sul tema della sicurezza sismica e un'occasione di confronto tra progettisti, direttori dei lavori, enti di verifica, committenze e imprese. “Nella governance di opere complesse dobbiamo combinare caratteristiche e qualità di tipo tecnico e sistemico”, ha spiegato Formato.
Dal punto di vista sistemico, oltre a lavorare su qualità e sicurezza, occorre “una forte struttura di project e construction management, che permetta di gestire il progetto, oltre alla capacità di interloquire con le autorità locali e il processo autorizzativo: l'Italia è un Paese fortemente regolamentato e fortemente frammentato dal punto di vista regolatorio, e questo crea impatti sulla filiera del progetto”. Quanto alle caratteristiche tecniche, queste “consistono nella necessità di integrare le discipline”, ha precisato Formato, “quindi parliamo di multidisciplinarietà sia in fase progettuale sia in fase realizzativa. Tutto questo lo si riesce a garantire se si hanno strumenti digitali a supporto”. Come ha poi spiegato l'ingegnera, “in società come le nostre i progetti molto complessi prevedono spesso team interdisciplinari e multi-country; quindi, il progettista o l'esperto che non è italiano deve sicuramente conoscere e sapersi interfacciare con il progettista italiano che localizza l'opera”.

Held in Milan at the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, the event represents the reference event in the Italian landscape on the theme of seismic safety and an opportunity for discussion between designers, construction managers, verification bodies, clients and companies. “In the governance of complex works, we must combine technical and systemic characteristics and qualities,” Formato explained.
From a systemic point of view, in addition to working on quality and safety, it is necessary to “have a strong project and construction management structure, which allows you to manage the project, as well as the ability to interact with local authorities and the permitting process: Italy is a highly regulated and highly fragmented country from a regulatory point of view, and this has an impact on the project supply chain.” As for the technical characteristics, these “consist in the need to integrate the disciplines,” Formato clarified, “so we are talking about multidisciplinarity both in the design phase and in the execution phase. All of this can be guaranteed if you have digital tools to support you.” As the engineer then explained, “in companies like ours, very complex projects often involve interdisciplinary and multi-country teams; therefore, the designer or expert who is not Italian must certainly know and be able to interface with the Italian designer who localizes the work.”
