Well. Finished #ADanceWithDragons and I'm a little gutted that's...it.

Great book, great series, but fuck...that's it right? Man's had almost fifteen years and he's not pushed the main plot at all in that time.

I adore his other work, and I'm so greatful to how well hes padded out the world of ice and fire but fuck me, it sucks that we're never going to get a conclusion to this series that I love so much.

Now that #Hockey is done I've got like an extra 6+ hours a week for myself.

Should be able to crack on with my #ASOIAF #ADanceWithDragons re-read as well as make more progress through the wonderful #ClairObscur. Might even get around to starting #Silo Season 2 if I'm lucky.

Alright. I've put this off long enough. It's been like six months since I finished my re-read of #AFeastForCrows. I'm not going to out-wait George so...

I'm putting off my #ADanceWithDragons re-read because I know that once I'm done with this book, I'll likely never have anything new in the main series to read again.

And I know I've read it before, but it was a long, long time ago and honestly I'm not sure I've got another 14 years in me.

When I started this #ASOIAF re-read in mid 2023 I held out hope that by the time I'd finished Dance, George would have delivered #WindsOfWinter, and I end it feeling like that is never going to happen.

DH and I discovered a used bookstore in a shopping center that has seen better days - I'm hoping other stores will move in to revitalize it - and they had the brilliant idea to bundle books with their movie adaptations.

DH has decided to start collecting the #DragonridersOfPern series in hardcover (they had 2), and I got some #StarTrek movie novelizations plus a pristine hardcover of #GOT #ADanceWithDragons.We're going to need more bookshelf space. #365Project #Project365
