Lessons Learnt in the Fediverse

So, I got blocked many times because I was honestly asking if I could publish ads to the Fediverse. It seems like the community's responses are more towards: "No". Okay. I'll try to do some opt-in/voluntary support without the need for me to push ads. Ads are annoying. It's contradictory that I use an ad blocker DNS resolver, but at the same time, I'm considering pushing ads, lol.

Can I put referral ads on my Fediverse blog entries? This is to support myself financially in a world of artificial money, scarcity, and inflation. However, I think putting ads in the federated universe, where people tend to engage in open sharing, seems quite unconventional. Maybe other people will get angry with me; they wanted to escape ads, but I am putting ads anyway, lol.
