Last night, Filbert officially left Moduland - leaving an open plot and an open place in all of our hearts.

Before he left, Shino gathered a few friends to go have a fun time with Filbert. They went to visit an aquarium with Filbert! He really enjoyed the fish and some of the hyper-realistic models they had on-site.

After the aquarium, everyone said some tearful goodbyes.

That little weirdo will be missed.

Walking around on my island, minding my own business, I run into this exchange between Kabuki and Filbert.

It effectively goes like this:
Filbert: Tries to butter up Kabuki
Kabuki: I have no snacks, kid, what's your angle?

Seeing the lazy, goofball squirrel get called out by the little old man that is Kabuki was just hilarious.

Last night while playing Animal Crossing, I was walking through Moduland when I saw a fire going in the distance in the town square.

I mean, I knew it was a little chilly out, but did not expect a small bonfire going right in front of town hall. Soon after I came closer, I saw Muffy sit down to join Filbert and Ankha just warming up by the fire.

It was too cute, so I had to catch this moment.

This week for Music Monday, I decided to go with a different approach to a musical scene.

Today, the Moduland Ballet Company decided to do perform a scene from the classic ballet, the Nutcracker.

The Nutcracker himself is played by the incomparable Filbert who is very angry as he faces off against the Rat King, played by Broccolo.

Clara is being played by Muffy, who is just a queen in this scene.
