I have been following a site for adopting dogs that need new homes for a very long time. But recently whenever I find a match it makes me so sad that I think it's better to just unsubscribe from the updates so as not to be reminded of this painful fact on a daily basis. 😞
It's hard for me to do that as it was something that would give me hope about the future, that some day I might find that dog buddy again. 🐶
But maybe I should just try to #accept what the situation is now and try to deal with things the way they are.
This is my way of trying to do so. Putting my thoughts in order and trying to deal with what has been handed to me.

I'll end on this. I am not one of the people that focuses on the #serenity to #accept that I can't change. I have no idea if I can change it until I fucking beat on it for a while, right?! So that's why I came out here pounding, and that's why I was giving for months on end 16 hours of effort a day.
