Good news! Pharmacies in Pennsylvania can start giving the #covid #vaccine!

The problem had been that state law requires that for a pharmacist to give a vaccine without a specific prescription, it has to be recommended by the ACIP or “by a competent authority”. The ACIP isn't set to meet until Sept 18.

The solution? The PA Board of Pharmacy met yesterday and voted to add the #AAFP, the #AAP, and #ACOG to their list of “competent authorities.”

Solicitamos a la Asociación de AFP sus estados financieros para conocer cuánto gastan en propaganda. Sin embargo, negaron entregarnos la información, aduciendo que, si bien existe, no es pública. Sólo la AFP PlanVital detalla cuánto paga a la gremial por publicidad: $251 millones en 2024.
