Samsung accidentally reveals the Galaxy A27 in a support page
This year’s middle-ranger devices, which are the Galaxy A37 and the A57, were released on March, boasting a big improvement in specifications over the Galaxy A36 and the A56. However, there is a third middle-ranger device that’s already in the works.
According to an official Brazilian support page regarding a list of supported devices for Galaxy Wallet (archived), as spotted by folks at GalaxyClub, the Galaxy A27 was listed, which appeared alongside the Galaxy A37, A57, and A17 4G and 5G versions. This means that Samsung has indirectly acknowledged the device’s existence.
Interestingly, the old name for the Galaxy S25 Edge has appeared in the same list, which was the Galaxy S25 Slim. If you had been following last year’s January leaks, you’d have seen that the S25 Slim was the chosen name before Samsung changed it to the Galaxy S25 Edge and unveiled it to the world in the Galaxy Unpacked event.
The A27 was rumored to have a Super AMOLED 120Hz+ display protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. Additionally, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 has been used in the 4nm process to provide efficiency, with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 as the software. The battery may come at 5,000 mAh with 25W fast charging support.
We will reveal the rest of the specifications once the A27 gets released to the public somewhere in the second half of this year.
