@midacre @afarnham @bgrinter A Canadian equivalent to the FAA's Low Level Wind Shear Alert System (LLWAS) may not have helped much in the case of the Delta 4819 crash. LLWAS makes an alert for controllers that they tell pilots. In this case without LLWAS, ATC did give the pilots an alert about low level winds based on pilot reports & existing equipment.
