Premedication for LISA/ MIST

Do you use premedication for LISA/ MIST procedure? What combination do you use? We have started our LISA procedures successfully, but a lot of concerns from our faculty that we should be using premedication as we do for intubations. Any advice much appreciated.

Is anyone using etomidate in neonates / preterms?

I just came across some papers about etomidate for sedation - causing no haemodynamic problems, but I hardly find any paper or recommendation for or against using etomidate in neonates. What I learned so far: - No haemodynamic suppression - Not analgetic - very often onset of myocloni - High tone...

Do you routinely measure coagulation test before surgery? Especially in preterm infant? 3. Do we hav...
