8-track I found thrifting. Love the design of these boxes with the preview window. I was going to do a fake-out "It's 8-track April" post as a goof yesterday, but I forgot. So here it is today!

These #MusicMachine folks ("featuring Janet, Linda, Timothy, Don and Steve") were capable of giving #8Track listeners pretty much anything they wanted - anything, except the real thing

Jaime Sommers aka The Bionic Woman could break out of any prison you built for her . . . except the 1970s

Saif Abu Bakr & the Scorpions were a #Sudanese #Jazz band whose lone 1980 album somehow only saw release on the Bon Zaid Phone label out of #Kuwait. This was one of a scant few #8track cartridges ever released in that country, all which were made . . . in Greece. This probably speaks of some interesting cross-cultural relationships between Kuwait, Sudan, and Greece back then, but all I can verify is that this African organ/sax/guitar mix sounds funky and still feels great today.
