There are several #USB #WiFi gadgets which can be fitted to a #RaspberryPi to access a #5GHz network. Most seem to use the #Realtek #8811uc chip, and the driver instructions provided by #ThePiHut are typical.

But for me they have been failing.

A very different set of instructions I found does appear to be working for me. No guarantees but the source code has recent updates even if the web page is older.
