Decided to do it. #Reanimator didn't keep my attention as well as From Beyond did. Funny to see so many of the same actors though.

Jeffrey Combs was a delight though.

Not sure what movie I'll watch next...

Tonight I finished #FromBeyond in my #80shorrormovies exploration. They really pushed the special effects on this, & even as dated as they are, they hold up. Practical effects ftw. Based on #hplovecraft short story, which I should read. Jeffrey Combs was fantastic, but I can't help but hear Weyon from #DeepSpace9 whenever he talks. Barbara Crampton was fun in her role too.

Highly tempted to watch Re-Animator next since both Combs and Crampton are in it, and it's also a Lovecraft adaptation.

Last night I was highly entertained by #ChoppingMall. What an insane idea... I loved it. Definitely more of what I was expecting from #80shorrormovies with a silly premise, gore, and topless horny teenagers.

Finally cracked open Cauldron Films’ The Houses of Doom box set and treated myself to a Fulci double feature: The Sweet House of Horrors (1989) and The House of Clocks (1989), both from Fulci’s later work in 1989, originally made as Italian TV movies.

Sure, these don’t exactly rank among Fulci’s finest, but I gotta admit – they were super entertaining and fun watches.

The Sweet House of Horrors felt like an eerie fairy tale for adults, where a wealthy couple gets brutally murdered (in classic Fulci fashion, meaning no shortage of gore) but then returns from beyond the grave to be with their kids. The House of Clocks follows three young burglars who pick the wrong house to rob, where time itself starts playing all kinds of twisted tricks…
