SibachianMain question I get at work is, what game is best for 2? Well, it depends, for me, #7Wonders Duel or #Splendor Duel, but wife & I are divided on which is better. #Photograph is a trick-taking title that we currently enjoy too. #Crokinole & #Backgammon are another staple, & a #52card deck. &, shameless plug, my game #Crowns will be entering the national #gamedesign contest next month, recommended by one of the largest #boardgame stores, & I already have a publisher waiting for design and print :D
Had a chance trying #Splendor: Duel with my wife tonight. Gotta say, its better than Splendor, which is one of my top favorite family games. It does kinda feel somewhat like #7Wonders: Duel, but even if it feels the same, its a very different game (and so much better than Duel for Middle-Earth). Or, perhaps a better description would be a hybrid between the two.
For people looking to get funky with #2player games, this is definitely going on my top 5 recommendations!

Vor allem die beiden Nicht-Start-Fraktionen haben beide ihren Kniff. Fand bisher jede Runde sehr cool. Hoffe noch mehr zu entdecken und auf noch mehr Fraktionen.
Würde es jedem empfehlen.
Es hat für mich auch was aus 7Wonders und Imperial Settlers.
max 🃏Mehrere Partien #RisingCultures gespielt. Die 4 assymetrischen Fraktionen sorgen für Abwechslung und auch wenn es optisch an #7wonders erinnert, ist es spielerisch sehr anders. Man kommt immer durch sein ganzes Deck, so dass sich die Varianz aus der Reihenfolge ergibt. Alle hatten Spaß. #Brettspiele
7 Wonders Deluxe - klingt erstmal sehr spannend. Mal sehen ob es am Ende nur die Box und Insert ist.
Da bin ich mit meinem ERaptor Holz Insert doch recht zufrieden. Aber da behalt ich mal nen Auge drauf.

finally had a chance to try out 7 wonders duel. me and wife did four rounds 😁
we both enjoyed it and hopefully it stays feeling good after some 10 to 20 games. i have heard the expansions makes it even better, but i like vanilla on principle.
tbh, its hard to find games that me and my wife can enjoy together. we're both competitive and would probably be better served cooperatively; but most coop games, frankly, kinda suck.
BlitzErichGerade mal so ein wenig im Netz zu #7wonders geschaut. 7 Erweiterungen? Reprint? Und dann keine BigBox? Das ist ja mehr als seltsam. Weiß da jemand irgendwelche Gerüchte dazu? Wobei...bei meinem Glück kaufe ich das Grundspiel und 15 Tage später kommt die BigBox auf den Markt.
