Day 5 update. Spent most of the day squashing bugs and doing basic balancing after wasting half the day trying to chase down algorithm issues. Since I have to skip tomorrow (kiddo birthday) it means that this largely complete already, but I have a few things I want to add on Sunday.

I might end up ditching the algorithm for a set of heuristics since performance is really eating away at things.

Annnnnd now I'm in the less fun part where slapping a bunch of new features introduced some bugs and I had to chase them down through a few 🤦 moments.

But through it now and back to adding core "path to finished" functionality with a day left until scheduled beta!

Day 3 progress update for #7drl. Spent the vast majority of the day just cranking out power-ups for the game (that hopefully will make each run feel unique). I found a few sparkles of "fun" today while doing test games and I hope the store and different opponents will make it really start hopping by tomorrow. Unpictured are the credits screen and a couple visual things I'm still working on.

What is not shown, however, is that I made my game support different aspect ratios, so having a 4:3 or 21:9 monitor should not be an obstacle.
