I got an email today promoting a new set of lenses from 7 Artisans. Three little lenses for APS-C cameras. It makes me happy to see this trend. I have spent so long lusting after great big fancy lenses, and getting excited about what a $3000 lens can do... and eventually I've come back to "what's the smallest and lightest kit I can carry and just enjoy my photography?"
I've done videos on the TT Artisan 40mm F2 Full Frame (different brand. very confusing this whole 7 Artisan vs TT Artisan thing) and just loved that lens. I still use it as my default lens. And now we're seeing more and more options for a brand new AF lens at $125.
Amazing.
That 25mm F1.8 would be my first pick of the bunch. I am thinking of getting a second hand Fuji for fun anyway. Maybe this is a sign.
