At 1440p, with RT reflections, the starting point on Sargasso in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart tanked the FPS but now it suddenly jumped to and above 70 fps without upscaling. This map, with its abundant vegetation, was the only place in-game where I couldn't find an acceptable solution above 60 fps with RT reflections. I'd recommend the new XeSS 1.3 on Quality for even more comfortable gameplay. Props to BenchmarKing for the optimisation guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXOgSYJ2gzQ
Here it is! 14 minutes of #Starfield gameplay. 1440p resolution. Graphics settings on ULTRA. No FSR & FSR on 75% (equivalent to upscaling from 1080p). Frame Generation ON & Frame Generation OFF. ->

Anyone else noticed the colors on the screen changing when the frequency of their #Radeon #7800xt changes? Using #CoreCtrl on Linux I see it clearly, low frequencies -> yellowish colors, high frequencies -> normal colors.
Before I was using CoreCtrl the colors would change randomly when watching videos, very annoying.
I’ve also had green and black screens + reboots. Lowering the power limit to 200W seems to have helped a lot. But my 850W PSU should be more than enough.
I haven't finished Ratchet & Clank yet (actually, since December, I've managed to finish only Turbo Overkill, testing everything else I could instead), but it's my favourite game so far, hands down ❤️

I've long lost any illusions of "making it" as a YouTube superstar. Though I wanted to showcase the RX 7800 XT for anyone out there hesitating between it and the RTX 4070. There are surprisingly (or unsurprisingly) little videos specifically about this card after driver updates, new game releases and so on. Now I am afraid my videos would just convince people to buy a Super instead. But hey, here's another one:
