Man, 70, sentenced to seven years in prison for three explosion attacks in The Hague

The court in The Hague has sentenced a 70-year-old man to seven years in prison for causing three explosions in The Hague’s city center. The explosions occurred on June 10, 12, and 13. Two liquor stores and a home on the Spui were the targets of the explosions. The man also has to pay the victims over 70,000 euros in damage compensation fees.A woman and her 10-year-old child were sleeping above the store during one of the explosions. Two residents were asleep in the home during another one of the explosions. They remained unharmed, thanks to emergency personnel.
