It is rare to see so many people feeling so much love and joy all in one place. With all the doom and gloom in the news, it’s easy to forget - there are still some good things in the world.
#70000TonsofMetal was exactly what I needed to see, to remember music brings people together. Even the mosh pits here were full of smiling happy people.
What I’ve seen here is sacred, nothing else could describe so much love. I will try not to forget that in the coming year.
I’ve enjoyed Melissa Bonny’s music for years, it was great to finally meet her and see her perform live
We’re at #70000TonsofMetal waiting for Orden Ogan’s autographs. This lady walks up behind me and starts telling me how she is going to take longer because she is “friends with” someone from the band and knew them way back when they did covers for…and I stopped listening. But she just kept talking.
Then she starts talking to the couple behind her telling them the same story and then goes “You want to know the secret to talking to people confidently? Remember they have to sit down to shit the same as you.”
