79 anni fa lo Sbarco in Normandia. Questa fotografia (fonte wikipedia) mostra, per l'Italia e gli italiani di oggi:
* il raddoppio della durata della vita media;
* il decuplicarsi o giù di lì del reddito;
* l'inizio di cosucce come la libertà personale, di stampa, di parola, di associazione eccetera;
* un incremento esponenziale degli standard locali dei diritti umani;
* una lunga pace;
* un benessere diffuso;
