I have called my representative to oppose H.R 7661 -- a bill that bans books that deems the LGBTQ+ community as "sexually oriented material", and will diminish education for everyone involved in academics.
I encourage you to do the same. A script is provided from the attached link, and leaving a voice mail is an option if you are anxious about giving phone calls.

My concerns:
- refusing to use budget reconciliation to sacrifice healthcare so that the US-Israel war on Iran is funded
- keeping ICE out of CA DMV data (it's mind-boggling that CA isn't one of the states officially preventing that.)
