I asked #ChatGPT if there is #FOSS solutions to learn #coding to #preschoolers (#twins #4yo here). Here is the answer:
Oui, plusieurs applications open source sont disponibles pour les enfants d'รขge prรฉscolaire. Voici quelques-unes qui sont conรงues pour รชtre รฉducatives et divertissantes :
1. #gcompris
2. #childsplay
3. #tuxpaint
4. #stellarium
5. #TurtleBlocks
6. #TuxTyping
7. #kdeedu Suite
Letโs increase #screentime to test them! ๐
โIn case anyone was wondering, the #musical episode of #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds is good but is seriously diminished by a #4yo trying to sing along but not knowing the words.
Does anyone with kids with a #SensoryProcessingDisorder (or have it themselves) have a #recommendation for a cooling weighted blanket? Ideally something that can be used on the couch (e.g. not a bed sized comforter) or even just a brand rec? My #4yo has #eczema on top of their SPD and getting too hot under a normal blanket has made their eczema so much worse now that summer is here...
#BoostsAppreciated for visibility, it's hard to decide what my #4yo will like when I can't relate to their sensory needs :/
Semi-related aside: my #4yo has to be constantly in contact with me if we're sitting side by side (they have a #SensoryProcessingDisorder). Which is fine but lately they're a freaking space heater little ball of sweat.
Might be time to get a small #WeightedBlanket for them.
Should I be rewatching #LowerDecks S01 with the #4yo and #1yo? I don't know.
No, I'm serious, should I?? Am I a bad parent?
Thr welling up of emotion to the point of holding back tears of joy as I answered my #4yo's question:
"Dad, who is Optimus Prime? Are they a good guy?"
