I asked #ChatGPT if there is #FOSS solutions to learn #coding to #preschoolers (#twins #4yo here). Here is the answer:

Oui, plusieurs applications open source sont disponibles pour les enfants d'รขge prรฉscolaire. Voici quelques-unes qui sont conรงues pour รชtre รฉducatives et divertissantes :
1. #gcompris
2. #childsplay

Letโ€™s increase #screentime to test them! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Day #4 of a cold going around the house - hit the #2yo and wife last night. I was up half the night comforting the kiddo and sleeping on the couch so the wife could have some relief. Taking the day off today to care for the #kids (the #4yo is on the mend!) and let the wife rest more... And to await my inevitable fate. I feel like this bit from #HIMYMโ€‹

In case anyone was wondering, the #musical episode of #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds is good but is seriously diminished by a #4yo trying to sing along but not knowing the words.

Rainy morning for our first full day of #vacation

But that's no problem. #4yo and I spent some 1:1 time building one of #Lego's great "4+" sets!

Set 60382 "Vet Van Rescue" is excellent for any preschoolers who love animals, vets, and vehicles.

Does anyone with kids with a #SensoryProcessingDisorder (or have it themselves) have a #recommendation for a cooling weighted blanket? Ideally something that can be used on the couch (e.g. not a bed sized comforter) or even just a brand rec? My #4yo has #eczema on top of their SPD and getting too hot under a normal blanket has made their eczema so much worse now that summer is here...

#BoostsAppreciated for visibility, it's hard to decide what my #4yo will like when I can't relate to their sensory needs :/

Semi-related aside: my #4yo has to be constantly in contact with me if we're sitting side by side (they have a #SensoryProcessingDisorder). Which is fine but lately they're a freaking space heater little ball of sweat.

Might be time to get a small #WeightedBlanket for them.

My poor #4yo was unprepared for the dog to go full #TheThing.

Should I be rewatching #LowerDecks S01 with the #4yo and #1yo? I don't know.

No, I'm serious, should I?? Am I a bad parent?

Thr welling up of emotion to the point of holding back tears of joy as I answered my #4yo's question:

"Dad, who is Optimus Prime? Are they a good guy?"
