I hadn't used CAD software in the last 20 years. Last time was actually back in engineering school...

At university I just drew technical schematics by hand.

Now that I want to get into #3DPrining, I kinda need to get back into #CAD though, so on the weekend I installed #FreeCAD on my Gentoo system, and got right into part design.

First project: A new soap-holder.

It is being printed right now.

is there a cheap way to #3d scan for #3dprining ? looked at some apps and stuff, but they either are expensive shit, or are low quality/fuck up the dimensions...
appreciate any tipps! :3
