Kearn Williams, winner of our three-minute thesis competition. His work on the political economy of Carnival is fascinating, and he told the story so well.
I was too busy being a judge, organiser and Dean at the #3MT final so didn’t manage to take any photos. We had film and photo people for that though so I’ll share when we have access to the files. It was a pretty incredible event, actually. Worth the financial stress, and loss of sleep.
I helped set up and break down before and after. I have faults but I am always happy to do stuff that needs doing. Maybe that is a fault. Maybe it’s my past life as stagehand and lighting tech in my youth…
Anyway I feel I need to sleep for a week. Not going to happen.
