New York PASSED a new law,
That says every 3d printer, CNC Machine etc.. MUST scan EVERY file before printing/milling for 'ghost guns', and 'intellectual property'. Even worse, it MUST be online connected to a state-controlled 'restricted items' database, that companies can pay the state to add stuff to. so you won't be able to print parts for your things if X/Y company doesn't want to.

3D Printed a spool for my 100ft ethernet cable. So tidy.

It's a very different experience, painting a model you designed yourself (base included).
Rather happy with how the paint work came out, dirt and damage to hide the parts I broke up by accident as I painted it.
The initial silhouette I had in my mind was a ball with lags, but I also wanted to work on some techniques and figure out things like armor panels and trim.
All in all, came out rather nice.

iRobot doesn’t sell this part for repairs. Have to buy a 65$ replacement kit. This was like 4 cents to print. This is exactly what 3D printing was for.
