Fields of Iron ⚔️🌅

For this piece, I stepped away from realism to achieve a traditional painting aesthetic directly within 3D! The landscape is Blender-built, using dense instancing for the smaller blades and hand-placed hero swords for scale.

The core of this look is pure post-processing magic. I built a custom node tree in Blender's Compositor.

Yes indeed. Back when G+ was a thing - I miss it, though they would have enshittified it now - I serialised what is now "Harry Takes Off".

I wrote 1000 words or so on a Friday evening, always ending in a cliffhanger, and after a quick read through posted it on G+ on Saturday morning.

It was intended to be like a Saturday morning cinema action serial. It was set in my Steampunk universe.
