Day 2: I’m really tense as I play. Like, almost full body tense. I also know I need to work up dexterity in my left hand, but even though I have freakishly long fingers I feel like I’m struggling to keep my fingers positioned properly. My hand is *also* super tense lol.

Day 1-ish: I’m starting this challenge (finally!) because I was dealing with some mental health issues that were preventing me from committing until now. Sorry, folks!

This is the primary book I’m using to learn. I’m at around lesson 15. My dad, who has played classical guitar for over 50 years, has been giving me short little lessons to help my technique.

I have to admit that guitar in general is wholly unintuitive to me lol.

I’m struggling to stay on top of learning #ClassicalGuitar because, well, I’m not a natural and guitar is hardly intuitive for me. So, I’m going to try a posting experiment where I post here daily for the next 30 days* about my learning progress as a way to hold myself accountable to *someone*. I’ll tag the posts #30DaysOfClassicalGuitar so that you can mute them if you’d like. But words of encouragement are always appreciated. ☺️

*Give or take — I may not be home some of those days
