I returned to the small study plan for Ideate - and got the idea to have Chat "regenerate" some past ideas. The result was good, but what really shone was the "roadmap" it asked if I wanted - kinda like a table, but somehow better. Check it out:

Testing an idea for AI to "evaluate" ideas based on some cateogries - inspired by an experiment @siqijiang ran.

I think this was super helpful, especially so that I didn't have to sort through every idea myself. Kinda related to the "ranking" I did previously.

Generating some HMW questions based on user needs! I felt this was more valuable when it expanded the questions and gave design opportunities as well.

I used ChatGPT to help me pitch all my Spotify ideas in one-liners and then tear them apart worst-case-scenario style. It was the perfect mix of hype and harsh reality — helped me see my ideas way more clearly and catch blind spots I didn’t even think about. Big fan of this method for refining ideas fast.

This one might be my favorite yet. I had Claude turn my chaotic Spotify ideas into a visual map — and it seriously blew my mind. Seeing everything organized by feasibility and theme made my project feel so much clearer (and real!). Aside from some UI issues, the glancebility of them was top tier!

This experiment was all about using AI to push my ideas further. I had ChatGPT give feedback on my concepts and help me brainstorm new ones — from practical to pretty out there. It was a solid way to step outside my usual thinking and explore ideas I might’ve missed on my own.

I did a solo brainstorming session building off my HMW statements. I found it super helpful to have clear prompts to guide my ideas while still allowing space to get weird or stay practical. It reminded me how much my own biases shape what I think is a ‘good’ idea. Overall, this was a fun and productive step that I’d definitely do again — highly recommend setting a timer and letting your brain run wild for 10 minutes!
