Good Sunday morning to you! #Eagle watch began an hour earlier today *yawn* but it is still dark at about 5AM nest-time.

The female, Jackie, is on the nest, with her head tucked under her wing. Color should be visible from the cam in a couple of hours, and then the view is fantastic!

It's probably too late for one of the 3 eggs, and might be getting close for the second as well. Fingers crossed, however, that we get to see one hatch.

Good Friday morning at #Eagle watch, where at 7AM nest-time it is 32F with 11mph winds. The sound from the camera (which I haven't mentioned) is always the sound of wind, sometimes wilder than others.

Jackie is sitting the nest with the sun rising behind her, mostly behind clouds, but creating a glinting spot on the lake.

According to the folks in the know, there are no confirmed pips yet, but the window for egg #1 has probably closed.

A much longer, excellent recap is here on FB (whcih I try not to ever visit).
