It's a holiday. And my day off.

Which means I'm out of the equation for working today. (There's usually a team selected for that on holidays.)

If it weren't my day off, there would be a 50% chance I'd work today. If I worked, I'd have the right to have an extra day off.

Christmas day and the new year (Jan 1st) also fall on a Thursday, my day off.

So, I'm gonna lose either one or two extra days off this end of year.

For a while I identified as a Latinist, which never became a reality. (Although I am indeed a free schooler, but I never got fluent in Latin after university. And my reading isn't good.)

I've been a bookseller all my life, always willing to find something better to do.

I also began to write a book, which would allow me to think myself as a writer, but with this current job, I have no time for it anymore.

I don't really know why, but I really try to keep friendships alive when they don't care anymore... I value friendship too much. People just don't care.

Interesting day. There was a kind of a convention, an event promoted by the bookstore where I work, gathering booksellers (of the chain) from all around the country.

I think it's the biggest bookstore in the country, nowadays.

Publishers attend to this event, and give us a lot of books for free. 📚📚📚
