It is quite funny how social engagements and diving into the craft of coding, quite easily distracts from the tasks of exercise.

Thus the challenge is on with one more week left in 2025 and more social engagements happening the upcoming week.

Caught up a bit and closing the gap somewhat. Realized that I miscalculated the average required weekly goal by being more lenient and the target week being the upcoming week, although there are still two weeks left in this year.

For the upcoming year, want to try out pushing cardio target over a pulling one and observe if certain daily choices of commuting by foot is just as high as in this year.

Not the worst week of the year, but quite minuscule compared to the weeks prior.

The rapid drop off is explained away by catching a stomach bug, which made it quite difficult to leave the building.

After three days of rest, I was finally able to exercise on the fourth day and soon there after also leave the structure.

Hopefully I can continue with my hiking in the upcoming week.

Finally, first week where I done more cardio than required. It helped that I achieved a new max of almost 90 km for the week and more than 50% of that has been done over two hikes.

With 4 weeks to go, the attainable goal seems plausible.

Achieved new weekly record of 83.5 km. This was assisted by two 20+ km hikes.

Also achieve 348 pull ups making just above 100 pull ups to make it to the target goal of 2000.

Have noticed with all the stress that exercising is putting onto my body, that I have little energy to do things beyond this realm.

Signed up for the final round of #HeavyDropTraining. This provides 3 workouts per week plus a care package and timed cardio session plus a quarter mile of death. Thus opening the opportunity to do more cardio.

All was working out quite well until the weekend where the poor sleep quality has hindered the recovery from doing multi-hour workouts. Thus had to take a recovery day on Sunday.

Quite lacking in distance, though was able to achieve the 2k benchmark of #CharityChallenge in squats and achieved new PR of 240 pull ups in one workout.

Have been hunting for locations to do pull ups and at such locations doing mini HIIT workouts. They always contain pull ups and either squats or burpees.

Two intense workouts are stated in the thread.

Commuting alone does not suffice in getting the minimum required for the challenge. Achieved it 9 times with 50% of the time accompanied with pull ups which totaled up to more than 250 pull ups and have been feeling the soreness in the arms the whole time.

The new focus for the upcoming week in pull ups is to do 6 rep sets. Additional signed up for the Autumn #CharityChallenge with the goal of 8k squats.

Fascinated that commuted 9 times via foot and a third of the time combined with pull ups.

This week have noticed that I need more than 24 hours between longer pull up sessions.
