I made it to 31 books this year, with many in-progress (isn't that always the way?) A fun year for reading, including all of NYC in the Akashic Noir series, a lot of 33 1/3 (as usual).

If pressed to pick a single favorite, it would have to go to David Mitchell's Utopia Avenue, one of the best music-related works of fiction I've ever read. Everything listed here in alphabetical order by author.

What did you all read this year?

Book reviews: reaching the end

Well, here we are. It’s almost the end of 2024! I figured I’d better get some reviews in for the books I’ve been reading recently. I want to ensure I’ve written up everythin…

Yeah nah.

Also, while I'm not *quite* ready to drop a surprisingly long (for me) reading list for 2024, I'm hoping I can get this one done in time to be included:
