I watched A COMPLETE UNKNOWN! I thought it was great! I usually bounce off of biopics, especially about musicians, but this one really worked for me, mainly because of Chalamet's phenomenal performance. I highly recommend checking it out!
Finished editing my Letterboxd film diary for 2024-- watched 44-ish films total this year (I still think I'm missing some, and may still add some later, if I find/remember them).

Some of these I watched with wifey, some not-- and these films weren't all released this year. But I'd wanted to try and log things as correctly as possible this year - what and when we watched - because I saw that Letterboxd will send you an end of year roundup like some of these sites do, that'll work if you have everything properly logged on the right dates from the year.
I sifted through my Netflix (where we watch most movies) history last night and I had most of those things logged on Letterboxd, but some were listed on the wrong dates (they'll default to logging their watch date when you write a review of them) or they were missing altogether. The Netflix history also confirmed the exact dates we watched everything. Then I went through the rest that Letterboxd had marked I'd seen this year, deleted the dates from the ones I didn't actually see this year (some also got incorrectly logged when I just marked watched).
Oh, and I'm not a big theater person anymore, but it was cool, we did see a couple in theaters this year-- Godzilla x Kong (on my birthday!) and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (right when it came out, at a cool theater that served you food and beer). Not a bad year for movies.
