Our French group has moved on to a Powered by Mothership ecological fantasy game in which we've descended from the cloud habitats to the ruined planet below in search of many things. We abandoned ship after a giant insect attack and now are hobbling wounded across the fields in search of medical treatment, and adventure. It plays really very well.

We escaped back to the Plane of water and thence to the Demi-Plane of Slime. It seems to be the rubbish dump of all the planes but we deal with some undead, meet Baba Yaga and hoodwink a pile of mephits guarding the exit gate into believing we are an envoy from Jubilex, Demon of Slime, by hiding under a slime drenched tarp to which skulls and three arses were added, with suitable emanations created by the alchemist. What a joy!

We have a filler week so I ran Blancmange & Thistle for three players new to Troika. It was the usual strange mess of things and was quite jolly if much shorter than when I played it.

Archie and Cassie go down the mine, and by magical means avoid the nightwatchmen. For unknown reasons, this place doesn't have a night shift. They find evidence of a sigil magically glowing dimly through a tunnel wall, creepy sounds and, in a lower gallery, a glowing cloud. What they hell is going on?

108. #Mothership(#TuesdayKnightGames)
We managed by dint of a mix of armed assault and sucking the air out the cabins to quell the remaining mutants and box them up in cryopods, repair the jump drive and get back to the safety(?) of Prospero's Dream Station. And for the first time in six Mothership scenarios I make my Sanity roll and get some XP, but we're done with these PCs and we're playing Cloud Empress next time.

Turns out the mage has been teleported somewhere. We do a little bit of investigation and it's pretty clear the Aboleth, the beyond the planes monstrosity is responsible, so we beard it too its lair and raid. Trouble is the only way out is by teleportation and we find our mage, but he's unconscious and there's a whole bunch of squamous tentacles knocking us, and I mean me, around.

104. #DeathmatchIsland (#OldDogGames). It's still quite meta, and the GM is struggling with the rules so it's probably not quite working as intended. It's wander around an island until you get into a situation. GM generates a target number. Collect your dice pool and roll. Then narrate your outcome based on what you rolled. Highest roller then becomes group leader. It's not completely unlike Dogs in the Vineyard, but there's only one roll each so less narrative development.

105. #Mothership(#TuesdayKnightGames)
The ship we're on is full of terrifying experimental mutants. We've got one on our side, and have managed to placate another. The third one tried to tear us apart and found out what a laser cutter does.

I'm sure at some point I'm going to lop a leg off one of my colleagues but so far it's proved a salvatory piece of kit.

100. #DarkConspiracy(#GDW). My second Virtual Grogmeet was this old chestnut which we played with Liminal rules (because they're better). We went looking for Bigfoot in Arizona and it was all about the friends we made along the way, which worked very well. We've had enough dark conspiracies this week.
