@gpollara yeah, if I could get the same thing from reading the paper, I'm not sitting in a Zoom box. The best one I've been to was #2023osper which used an unconference format and emphasized the interactivity to a really good degree.
Watch Sessions from the 2023 Unconference on Open Scholarship Practices for Education Research

We’re proud of this year’s Unconference on Open Scholarship Practices for Education Research (UOSPER), which brought together over 400 registrants from 53 countries to discuss open scholarship through a collection of workshops, lightning talks, and unconference sessions. We also saw some on-the-fly programming!

If you missed #2023OSPER and want to see recordings from the unconference, you can view them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G4GR4A4-us&list=PLChfyH8TVDGl5JUEUxM5ehg6WdkEN-Lxd

Great sessions by @briannosek, @aeryn_thrace, @ndporter, @FORRT, and others. Also includes a closing session on incentivizing data sharing, openness, and replication in IES-funded research!

Just learned the language "twice exceptional" for learners who fit both "gifted" and "learning disability" (whether diagnosed or not) at #2023OSPER. That's all 5 in my immediate family and about 30% of academics I know. So I'm curious if anyone has recommendations for good resources on this concept, especially any higher ed applications? Thanks!
Meanwhile at #2023OSPER our last #unconference session culminated in people plotting the beginnings of an #openscience #education revolution. Quote of the day: ""If anyone starts a revolution, send me an email!"
Someone come chat with me in the lobby during this break lol #2023OSPER
Great talks (plus mine) to get started in the Open Science Lightning Talks session at #2023OSPER. Even if you're not at the conference (or in one of the other sessions) slides can be found at https://osf.io/79zx5/

@briannosek talking about how US adults respond to researchers and their findings in terms of researcher ability, researcher ethics, and the truth of the finding based on different scenarios involving replications and the original researcher's responses to replication attempts.
