Buying a second hand 2013 mac pro was by far the best investment I’ve made in years.

Not only did it become a thoroughly enjoyable project getting linux working well on it, a powerful computer for cheap, and an inspiring desktop to use, but it also taught me how wasteful and pointless it is buying new tech.

Next time you’re looking for a new computer for work, consider second hand. There is still so much life in old tech, especially with #Linux
