1986: i ran for student body president of jefferson jr hs in louisiana. i had just moved there from LA a yr ago so i didnt know until i won that they also had a rule that whatever the race of the presidential winner, VP had to be of the opposite race. #1Problem, no white ppl ran for vp so they asked one of the white boys that lost to me to be the vp, but he said no (he ended up becoming one of my 2 best friends). For whatever reason, all the white ppl said no, & that rule ended what zero fanfare

Online people are getting very excited abt the case for genocide South Africa brought against #ApartheidIsrael in the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
