Okay, a rabbit trail may have revealed a funny point about the NRSV's textual history.
#Genesis 10:14 = #1Chronicles 1:12 lists the peoples of Pathros, Kasluh, & Kaphtor, mentioning in passing that the Philistines came from Kasluhites.
Oddly, #Jeremiah 47:4 and #Amos 9:7 identify the Philistines as coming from Kaphtor, not Kasluh.
What's going on here? Dunno. Perhaps a marginal addition was incorporated into the main text in the wrong spot in Genesis.

The majority of the narrative of #1Chronicles featured the life and exploits of #David as #King of #Israel.
Whereas in 1-2 Samuel we learn much of David's years before becoming King of Israel, and of his great sin with Bathsheba and its consequences, the Chronicler passed over all such things.
Instead, the Chronicler focused on David's mighty deeds and loyalty to God.
The First Book of Chronicles can be found in the #Writings section of the #Hebrew Bible, but presented as part of the historical narratives in Greek and English translations.
#1Chronicles may have been written by Ezra, but most definitely around the time of Ezra.
What is #1Chronicles all about?
What's up with all the #genealogies?
Why does the Chronicler characterize #David in the way he did?

The story of David's first attempt to move the ark is told twice, with some textual differences. 2 Sam 6:5 mentions the initial celebrations "with all [instruments of] cypress wood," while 1 Chr 13:8 says "with all strength, and with songs."
2 Sam 6:5: בְּכֹ֖ל עֲצֵ֣י בְרוֹשִׁ֑ים
1 Chr 13:8: בְּכָל־עֹ֑ז וּבְשִׁירִ֤ים
The only differences are transpositions of letters and a different word division, but it raises questions whether cypress or songs were involved.

Comparing the two genealogies of Saul in #1Chronicles 8:29-38 || 9:35-44:
The name Y'iel/Y'uel in 9:35 is omitted in 8:29, oddly.
Saul's grandfather Ner's name is omitted from 8:30 (cf. 9:36), by haplography with the following Nadab (because r and d are so similar in #Hebrew).
"And Mikloth" is also omitted fro the end of 8:31 by haplography (cf. 9:37).
"And Ahaz" is omitted from 9:41 by haplography (cf. 8:35).
