Jar Of Flies, the acoustic-leaning EP by #AliceInChains, was released 1/25/94. The follow-up to 1992’s Dirt, Jar Of Flies drips with melancholia, the Staley/Cantrell dynamic audibly bare, vocal arrangements spared from needing to cut through their normal blend of metallic murk. I personally think it’s their best work.
