I didn’t know Wesley but I did know the Australian Centre for Photography he co-created because it was where I did a course in photojournalism that proved very useful.

Lynette’s post mentions the Yellow House. That was a now-iconic artefact of Australian social history around the arts scene and counterculture during the 1970s, through which a number of noted cultural innovators, writers and artists, passed. Anyone heard of it?

I think those of us with a foot in the arts, photography, writing and counterculture scene of the day owe Wesley a vote of sincere thanks.
