Emotions is the third album by the English rock group The Pretty Things, released in 1967.

Emotions Review by Matthew Greenwald

The Pretty Things were one of the most underrated rhythm & blues bands to come out of the mid-60's British rock explosion. So well-loved by Brits, they were often thought of in the same breath as The Rolling Stones. And, like a lot of great rhythm & blues based groups to come put of England, they stepped somewhat uneasily into the precarious psychedelic music explosion. However, in all fairness, The Pretty Things did come up with a pretty fine and original album, Emotions. Superbly well-orchestrated (especially the gorgeous "The Sun," one of the album's standouts), The Pretty Things didn't lose sight of their R&B leanings, as tracks such as "There Will Never Be Another Day" show.

Earth Music is the second studio album by the American rock band the Youngbloods, released in 1967...

Cover songs on the album include "Euphoria", a song originally done by the Holy Modal Rounders and written by George "Robin" Remailly (who later became a member of the Rounders). ...The Youngbloods version of "Sugar Babe" was included in the soundtrack album for Michelangelo Antonioni's 1970 film Zabriskie Point.

In a retrospective review for Allmusic, Lindsay Planer calls the album "a blend of captivating songwriting with an infectiously fun delivery" and feels that there are "a handful of equally definitive sides scattered throughout Earth Music." - Wikipedia

Clear Light is the only studio album by the American psychedelic rock band Clear Light, released in September 1967, by Elektra Records.

Clear Light was released in September 1967 and peaked at number 126 on the Billboard Top LP's. It combined elements of folk, rock, psychedelic, and classical music. It is an AMG music pick.[2] While the album was not a success at the time, it was considered as creative, coherent and competent. The album featured the unique characteristic of including two leading drummers on their tracks.

Matthew Greenwald of AllMusic was more positive to the record, calling it a "very good slice of Los Angeles psychedelia." - Wikipedia

Nicola is the fifth album by Scottish folk musician Bert Jansch, released in 1967.

Nicola Review by Richie Unterberger

... Nine of the 12 cuts are Jansch originals, and ably display his nimble guitar work, incorporation of blues, traditional British Isles folk influences into a contemporary style, and his Donovan-esque vocals. For the first and only time, he played both electric and acoustic guitars on this LP; it's also his first work to feature drumming. Some of the orchestrated numbers, especially "Woe Is Love, My Dear," were actually deemed to have potential as singles. That didn't happen (the cut "Wish My Baby Was Here" would have been a better choice in any event), but that doesn't take away from their fey period charm.

Let's Live for Today is the second studio album by the American rock band the Grass Roots, released in July 1967 by Dunhill Records. A new group was brought in for this album which included Creed Bratton, Rick Coonce, Warren Entner and Rob Grill. It features their first top-ten hit by the same name, "Let's Live for Today".

Unlike much of the group's later material, Let's Live for Today contains no horn or string arrangements. The songs reflected a new psychedelic direction for the group, but there are still folk elements throughout the record... - Wikipedia

"Ken Nordine Does Robert Shure's 'Twink' by Ken Nordine released on Phillips in 1967.

Die or DIY? wrote:

"The unfortunately titled "Twink",first published in 1957, was a popular selling pamphlet of quirky poetry by someone called Robert Shure, hence the title...In true space-age batchelor pad style, Nordine uses the stereo spread to appear to be talking to himself with one voice recorded dry, the other recorded with effects. It sounds a bit like the voice one hears during a sudden attack of paranoid Schizophrenia. In between every track ,for some reason, there are different styles of tinkling bells,as if entering a small Haberdashers every minute for half an hour.
As always, Nordine's silky baritone makes this a soothing but surreal, and accidently psychedelic nostalgia trip.Like watching a Mr Magoo cartoon..."

Collections is the second album by the rock band the Young Rascals. The album was released on January 9, 1967..

...In his review for Allmusic, music critic Bruce Eder wrote the "garage rock" sound of the band's first album was gone and called it a "wonderfully soulful body of music that picks up right where 'In the Midnight Hour' from the prior album left off. Most of this record is among the most danceable white rock music of its period..."[.. - Wikipedia
