This village sits around 3000m high in the Annapurna Ranges, on the edge of the Mustang. The women in this photo are young, and they are not from here. They were hired to process manure. They shovel it into bags then haul it into the fields below the village.

They originate from Dolpo, one of the poorest regions of Nepal. It takes three days on buses to reach this part of the Annapurnas from where they live.

One of those mornings when the Himalayas is playing with the sunlight. A river flows across the silt below us, while the peaks of Nilgiri generates clouds up above.

Gotta share one more view of this amazing valley. Snow capped ridgeline of Nilgiri can be seen in the distance, as glacial waters run down the river bed.

These shots are from Kagbeni. It's a marvellous town and surrounded by gorgeous scenery. It's full of quirks and I hope it won't ever get too popular and outgrow its charm.

Continuing my #EwenInNepal series, this time we're stopping by the roadside near Jomsom and enjoying a little afternoon light on the river. The peaks of Nilgiri rise above in the distance.

This shot was taken handheld at 1/8th of a second on the Lumix S9, and my Okko ND64 slipped on the Lumix S 18mm to help achieve the slow shutter. Amazing what the stabilisation in these cameras can do now.

Every so often I do pull out the 18mm lens :)
