I can imagine the thrill of watching this gigantic white tower shining in the middle of the night, fed by the brand new electric grid.
It's built on old Tammany Hall grounds, but also took over the site of an old NYC Academy of Music as well. There is a recurring historical pattern of Americana here, for those willing to look for it.

I got some foliage from the area outside my studio. 🍁
And taped this onto 16mm film leader using clear splicing tape. ✂️
I ran the film through my Lego filmscanner. 📸
And there you have it, a Stan Brakhage-inspired found foliage film! 🦋
