In #Kosovo 2 women have been murdered - one publicly - & Avdiu has been threatened over 11.000 times for stating an opinion about footballer Granit Xhaka and was threatened on live TV by Xhaka's father: https://www.blick.ch/sport/fussball/wm/ragip-xhaka-im-kosovo-tv-sonst-wirst-du-dich-verantworten-muessen-id18119274.html.

Doug Mullin on Instagram: "For today's post, I highlight the Person's Case. This decision of the Canada Supreme Court decided that women were persons under the law. As persons, they were allowed to sit as Senators. There is a picture of the statue to commemorate the five women of the case. I also include a picture of the first indigenous woman appointed to the Senate, Sandra Lovelace Nicholas. She is newsworthy for advancing the rights of indigenous women to return their status after marrying a non-status person. After this noteworthy achievement accomplished, she was appointed to the Senate to represent NB. #16days of Activism against gendered-based violence."
