AGI - Lo smartphone è diventato il punto in cui si incontrano fotografia computazionale, intelligenza artificiale, intrattenimento, produttività e design. In un mercato globale che rallenta e nel quale gli utenti cambiano telefono meno spesso, i produttori cercano nuove ragioni per rendere desiderabile l’upgrade: immagini più dinamiche, batterie più capienti, display meno affaticanti, formati pieghevoli e software capaci di adattarsi al contesto.
È in questo scenario che Xiaomi ha presentato a Vienna la nuova Xiaomi 17T Series, composta da Xiaomi 17T e Xiaomi 17T Pro. La nuova gamma punta soprattutto sull’imaging, con una tripla fotocamera sviluppata con Leica, un teleobiettivo 5x su entrambi i modelli e la funzione Leica Live Moment, pensata per catturare tanto il singolo istante quanto il movimento e l’emozione che lo precedono. L’obiettivo dichiarato è trasformare la fotografia da immagine statica a breve racconto visivo, in linea con un uso sempre più social e narrativo dello smartphone.
La nuova serie introduce un sensore principale da 50 megapixel, un teleobiettivo Leica 5x con stabilizzazione ottica, zoom di livello ottico fino a 10x e Ultra Zoom AI fino a 120x. Sul modello Pro arriva anche la registrazione cinematografica 4K a 60 fps, mentre Leica Live Portrait estende l’effetto bokeh alla modalità ritratto in movimento. Lo scopo è quello di mettere nelle mani dell'utente un dispositivo in grado di costruire contenuti pronti per essere condivisi.
Accanto alla fotocamera, Xiaomi insiste su due altre direttrici: display e autonomia. La Serie 17T integra la tecnologia Xiaomi Vision Care, pensata per adattare automaticamente lo schermo alle condizioni di luce e ridurre luce blu, sfarfallio e motion blur. Il display AMOLED 1.5K raggiunge una luminosità di picco di 3.500 nit, con refresh rate fino a 144 Hz sul modello Pro e 120 Hz sulla versione base.
Sul fronte batteria, Xiaomi 17T Pro monta un’unità da 7.000 mAh con ricarica cablata a 100 W e wireless a 50 W; Xiaomi 17T scende a 6.500 mAh con ricarica a 67 W. Per l’Italia la campagna di lancio è affidata a Matteo Berrettini, scelto per accompagnare il claim legato alla capacità di “catturare ogni attimo”.

In a global market that is slowing down and in which users change phones less often, manufacturers are seeking new reasons to make upgrades desirable: more dynamic images, larger batteries, less straining displays, folding formats, and software capable of adapting to the context.
It is in this scenario that Xiaomi presented the new Xiaomi 17T Series in Vienna, consisting of the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. The new range primarily focuses on imaging, with a triple camera developed with Leica, a 5x telephoto lens on both models, and the Leica Live Moment function, designed to capture both the single instant and the movement and emotion that precede it. The stated goal is to transform photography from a static image into a visual short story, in line with the increasingly social and narrative use of the smartphone.

Alongside the camera, Xiaomi is emphasizing two other key areas: display and battery life. The 17T Series integrates Xiaomi Vision Care technology, designed to automatically adapt the screen to lighting conditions and reduce blue light, flicker, and motion blur. The 1.5K AMOLED display reaches a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, with a refresh rate up to 144 Hz on the Pro model and 120 Hz on the base version.
On the battery front, the Xiaomi 17T Pro features a 7,000 mAh unit with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging; the Xiaomi 17T drops to 6,500 mAh with 67W charging.
