As a hiking guide, I spend a lot of time in the Alps. Many of my tours pass by glaciers – or places where glaciers once existed. They are silent witnesses to a transformation that feels unstoppable – yet must not simply be accepted.
That’s why I support the #1400reasonstoact campaign by Protect Our Winters Switzerland. It matters to make these glaciers visible.
Which glacier did you last visit?
Up on the Hohlaub Glacier at 2900 m – just grateful to still be able to experience places like this. The quiet, the ice, the mountains… it’s something I hope future generations can feel too. 🏔️❄️
