In January of 2006, my in-laws came to visit for the first time from Germany. York was a massive fan of F1 and attended many races over the years in Europe but he never got close to the cars. Whilst we were looking around the track in Sebring, I took him by the Skip Barber racing school and they wanted him to try out a car. Wow, absolutely nuts wreck for Pipo Derani in the #IMSA #12HoursofSebring he clipped a Ferrari he was lapping, went straight into the tires and completely flipped over onto his roof on the tires from the force of the impact. I hope Pipo's okay, he is walking away and doesn't seem to be limping or anything, gave a wave to the fans. #motorsport
