#Ukrainian military intelligence has identified the #Russian army brigades that launched ballistic missiles at #Sumy.
The strike with two #Iskander_M ballistic missiles on April 13 was carried out by #Russian forces from the #112th and #448th missile brigades, according to #Kyrylo_Budanov, head of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence.
He stated that the missiles were launched from the territory of #Russia’s #Voronezh region (#Liski) and the #Kursk region (#Lezhenki).
Soldiers of the #112th Territorial Defence Brigade, who guard the northern skies of #Ukraine, have shared how they deal with the problem of decoy drones.
They can track up to 300 targets in one night, a sharp increase from previous months. Half of them are decoys that do not carry a charge but make it a bit more difficult to down the real #Shahed drone.
The #Ukrainian military has learned to distinguish #Shahed-type drones from decoys by sound, which helps save ammunition.
